I grew up in Florida, born and raised in the sunshine state. I went to college at the University of Central Florida and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Finance. Right after I graduated, I accepted an offer to work at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. So, I moved here to Charlotte with no friends/family. This area seems to be a great place to meet new people..everyone I meet is usually from somewhere else and I feel that their groups are very welcoming to new transplants. I just got out of a long-term relationship about 2 months ago. I can tell you, reader, I am happier now than I once was. I call it "dumb love" and my ex and I moved in together after a couple months of dating..lesson learned. I am ready to start dating again. A little about my personality..I am quite outgoing and I love to go out and have a good time. I try to keep my fun centered around the weekends, but every once in awhile a weekday creeps on in there! I am sensitive, but also confident. I listen to my partner and I am naturally a protector. I want the girl I am with to be independent, yet feel safer when I am around. I have high hopes for online dating, as my friends have told me it works. I am open to trying new things and this is proof.
